John has been advancing his father's work for a quarter century and spends considerable time visiting with curators in diverse sections of the country. Recently these trips took him to Texas, Oklahoma, and China where he introduced David Hayes sculpture to the lead curator at the National Museum in Beijing. When not arranging museum exhibitions he plans large outdoor municipal installations which typically stay on public display for one year. This year, shows he curated or worked on are currently up or opening in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, New York, Alabama, Connecticut and Ohio.
